has lived on the Mendocino Coast since 1968.
A single Mom, she raised 2 girls who are
interested in art, she went back to school in
1977 and began studing wheel-thrown pottery
with Bob Zvolensky. In 1980 she became a
member of the Mendocino Coast Artists Assoc.,
a loosely-knit group which eventually became
a successful gallery, Northcoast Artists in
having trouble with her wrists and eventually
gave up the wheel for watercolors.
classes with Fran Moyer and Bob Rhoades
through the College of the Redwoods and then
struck out on her own.
has been shown at Northcoast Artists,
Headlands Coffeehouse, The Depot Mall,
Mendocino Cafe, Piaci's, Mendocino Art
Center, Betty Graubard Gallery,
Hotel, and private shows. She has sold to
people from all over Northern Ca. Nancy
mainly works in water colors but uses other
mediums as well and her topics are usually
flowers. She is also an avid gardener, which
may explain the flowers...
