"My love affair with art started with crayons and paper when I was four. I love everything about painting-the paper, the water and mostly the colors!"

Grace Mc Master is a second generation Californian. Her watercolors reflect her deep-seated love of nature, her sensitivity to her surroundings and her awareness of color. A recurring theme in her work is the beauty and diversity of her some state, particularly the North Coast.

"I always strive to capture the essence of a place at the time I paint it. That's why it is so important for me to start each painting outside on location. I feel blessed to have been born in a beautiful state."

Grace's landscapes evoke the emotional as well as the physical. Her sense of color and form are remarkable. There is a hidden dimension to Grace's work-viewers are transported to "other worlds."

A tremendously productive artist, her work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe.
